What can BNI do for me?

Started in 1985 by Dr Ivan R Misner, Business Network International is the most successful business referral organisation in the World. Last year over 4.9 million referrals were passed amongst its members creating nearly £1 billion of business.
Being part of a BNI chapter is like to having a whole team of sales people working on your behalf all with the common aim of finding business for each other – the "givers gain" principle.

How?

Because each of them carry several copies of your business card with them, they are taught by you what sort of business you are looking for and how to introduce your products and services to a potential client/customer and how to recommend you to that person.

Why?

Simple, all of us need suppliers that we can trust to pass over to our best clients, customers and contacts to help us in turn grow our own business.

But you don't know me.

That's why we ask you to supply two references that are followed up on and why we meet regularly to get to know you, learn all about your business and the type of business you're looking for. In addition we all sign up to a set of policies created by members for members to assure each other that the services/products we offer and the levels of customer service we give are to the highest standard expected from a successful organisation.

Is there any support?

Definitely, and it's free as part of your membership. BNI prides itself on providing an environment to help you develop professional and personal relationships with other business professionals to help you grow your business.
Free training is provided in a variety of personal and business skills. In addition there are a number of large networking events as well as a major annual event.
