ABOUT THE BNI CONNEXIONS CHAPTER

The Connexions Chapter of Business Network International boasts a membership of 28. Since then it has firmly established itself as a valuable source of business for its members.

Connexions is made up of local business professionals who meet together each Friday morning to pass on business to each other, either directly from the members themselves, or from the many contacts we meet during the course of our working day. We succeed in combining business networking with pleasure. Our meetings are always lively and fun, but the underlying focus is to support each member to achieve business success. The best way to find out whether BNI will suit you is to try it. We meet every Friday morning and you are very welcome to join us.

Leadership Team

The Chapter's Leadership Team changes every 6 months. The Leadership Team of any BNI chapter consists of a Chapter Director, Membership Co-ordinator and Secretary/Treasurer. The current Leadership Team comprises:

Chapter Director		David Wilton Positive Branding

Secretary/Treasurer		Howard Lancaster HPL Insurance

Chapter Director
1. Sets the overall strategy for the Chapter in conjunction with the Leadership Team
2. Runs the weekly meeting ensuring that the BNI agenda is followed closely
3. Acts a figurehead for the Chapter to local businesses, press and other business organisations

Membership Co-ordinator
1. Chairs the Membership Committee which vets all applications to join or renew membership
2. Produces weekly reports on numbers of visitors and referrals
3. Produces a monthly Membership Committee report

Secretary/Treasurer
1. Handles process of new members joining and existing members renewing membership
2. Reminds members when renewal fees are due
3. Deals with the Chapter's bank account
